For Liddy's 5th birthday we got her tickets to see the Imagination Movers. Russell had to work, but I went with her to the concert and it was great. The Movers kept in mind their principal audience (the 10 and under crowd) while also being entertaining for the adults.(They did a pretty decent cover of Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" that I had a great time singing along with anyway!) Lydia and I danced and sang and clapped our hands. The Movers spent as much time in the audience as they did onstage and shook hands with all the kids. Mover Rich even came over to Lydia twice and told her she was "one of the prettiest girls he'd seen". Lydia is dying to tell her daddy about the whole concert--and so am I!
Aww... I bet she just ate it up! Glad you had such a good time! :) And happy birthday to Liddy!
