I'm way behind on scrapbooking. Doesn't that sound silly? To be behind in something that is a hobby? Oh well...I still have zoo pictures to scrap from March...but I have all summer! (Plus I have a new camera to learn so...lots of pictures should be happening if I ever figure it out. These pictures were taken with the new camera. It's a Cannon Rebel XSI 450D. It can do lots of nifty stuff that I don't know how to do yet...but this is the first of pictures I took with them. (The other Easter pic of Lydia with the grass was with the old camera.)
Anyway, back to Easter. We had a big day. Brent was working strike, so unfortunately, no Isolde this year. But even still it was good times. Lydia loved her basket. She especially loved the stuffed bunny which she named Kiwi. We coloured eggs, plus we had gingerbread cookies shaped like eggs that we decorated. We had our egg hunt out doors in the front yard. We've had lots of rain here recently, so the back yard was totally not an option. (Right now it's more like a back swamp.) Her Easter dress was a Cinderella sundress we found during the Evacuation Vaction. I thought she looked beautiful in the blue and I love her hair pulled back in a bow.
